NEMA 1 Enclosures
Milbank’s NEMA 1 products meet the standard rating system set by the National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA). This standard defines a product in attributes and capabilities and assures a certain level of quality. Milbank NEMA 1 enclosures are designed for indoor use to provide a degree of protection to personnel against incidental contact with hazardous parts. These enclosures are also designed to provide a degree of protection to the internal components against falling dirt.

Screw Cover Junction Boxes
Designed for use as junction or pull box.
Features:
- Enclosure and cover are manufactured from 16-, 14- or 12-gauge steel.
- Available with or without knockouts. Rectangular units have knockouts on all four sides; square units have knockouts on just two sides.
- Covers have teardrop slots for easy installation and are attached to body with plated screws.
- Grounding emboss provided with green-plated grounding screw.
- Holes are incorporated into the back of enclosure for mounting.
Hinged Cover Junction Boxes
Designed for use as junction or pull box.
Features:
- Enclosure made from 16- or 14-gauge steel.
- Formed stainless hinges.
- Flush pull ring for easy opening of door.
- Holes are incorporated into the back of enclosure for mounting.
- Provision for grounding, with green-plated grounding screw.
Hinged Cover Panel Enclosure
Designed for use in control and instrumentation applications.
- Enclosure and cover manufactured from 16-gauge steel.
- The door is attached to the enclosure with a continuous hinge.
- The door is secured closed by a screwdriver-operated flush catch.
- Panel-mounting studs are provided for optional back panel.
- Holes are incorporated into the back of enclosure for mounting.
Flush Mount and Surface Mount Telephone Cabinet Covers
Designed for use with screw cover junction boxes for flush mount and surface mount telephone cabinet applications.
- Covers are manufactured from 16-, 14-, and 12-gauge steel.
- The continuous hinge is made of stainless steel and includes astainless steelhinge pin.
- Tumbler lock features slam-latching action on single door (24 inches wide or less).
- Double door (30 inches and wider) uses overlapping doors with three-point latching mechanism.
GSC1 Lay-In Wireway
Designed to allow long interrupted runs of electrical wiring in applications where moisture and dust are not a problem.
- All straight sections and fittings are open on one side so wires can be laid into the wireway.
- Wireway and cover are manufactured from code gauge steel.
- Available with or without knockouts.
- Covers incorporate teardrop slots for easy installation and are attached with plated steel screws.
- Wide range of fittings allows for change of direction, junctions, terminations as well as transition from competitors’products.
GHC1 Lay-In Wireway
Designed to allow long interrupted runs of electrical wiring in applications where moisture and dust are not a problem.
