NEMA 3R Enclosures

Milbank’s NEMA 3R products meet the standard rating system set by the National Electrical Manufacturer Association (NEMA). This standard defines a product in attributes and capabilities and assures a certain level of quality. Milbank NEMA 3R enclosures are designed for either indoor or outdoor use and provide a degree of protection to internal equipment against water (including rain, sleet and snow). NEMA 3R enclosures are also designed to be undamaged by the external formation of ice on the enclosure.

Screw Cover Junction Boxes

Designed for use as a junction box or pull box applications. 

Features:

  • Enclosure and cover are manufactured from 16-, 14- or 12-gauge G90 galvanized steel. 
  • Cover fits under the drip shield top, held in place with a plated steel screw.  
  • Available with or without concentric knockouts on the bottom
  • Mounting embosses provided on the back of each enclosure. 
  • Sealing provisions on the front cover.

Hinged Cover Junction Boxes

Designed for use as a junction box or pull box applications.  

Features:

  • Enclosure and cover are manufactured from 16-, 14-, and 12-gauge G90 galvanized steel.  
  • Formed steel hinge with padlockable flip latch.  
  • Available with or without concentric knockouts on the bottom.
  • Four mounting holes are supplied on back of box. 
  • Features a drip shield top and seam-free sides, front and back.

Hinged Cover Telephone Cabinet

Designed for use as a telephone cabinet, panel enclosure, or junction box applications.  

Features:

  • Enclosure and cover are manufactured from 16-, 14-, 12- or 11-gauge G90 galvanized steel. 
  • The cover is mounted on galvanized lift-off hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. Cover is fastened with a padlockable draw latch.  
  • Panel-mounting studs provided for optional back panel. 
  • Embossed mounting holes on back. 
  • Knockouts provided on the bottom of some sizes.

Current Transformer Cabinet

Designed for use as a current transformer cabinet or panel enclosure applications. Learn more about Milbank CT cabinets. 

Features:

  • Enclosure and cover manufactured from 16- or 14-gauge G90 galvanized steel.  
  • Doors are overlapping with no center post. 
  • Cover is mounted on galvanized lift-off hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. Cover is fastened with a padlockable draw latch.  
  • Three-point padlockable handle.  
  • Panel-mounting studs provided for optional back panels.

GSC3R Screw Cover Wiring Trough

6648-GSC3R

Designed to protect wiring installations.  

Features:

  • Trough and cover are manufactured from 16-gauge G90 galvanized steel. 
  • Cover is designed to fit under the drip shield top, held in place with plated steel screws. 
  • Available with or without concentric knockouts on the bottom. 
  • Embossed mounting holes are provided on the backs of the units.
